WADOO!!News: Brad Pitt Leads Sing-Along on Stage at 2015 Palm Springs International Film Festival—Watch the Video!

Brad Pitt, Palm Springs

Brad Pitt led the audience on a sing-along at the 2015 Palm Springs International Film Festival awards Gala on Saturday.

The actor had appeared on stage to introduce David Oyelowo, who received the Breakthrough Performance Award for an Actor for his leading role as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the movie Selma. The former star is one of the executive producers, as is Oprah Winfrey, who also appears in the film.

As seen in a video posted by the U.K. newspaper The Telegraph, Pitt demonstrated to the crowd how to pronounce Ayelowo’s last name…by singing it. To the tune of the popular soccer chant “Olé, Olé, Olé.” And to Coldplay‘s “Yellow.”

The Palm Springs International Film Festival takes place in Palm Springs, California and kicks off the new year’s awards season. There, 2014 movie actors and filmmakers are honored before major ceremonies, such as the Golden Globes, which takes place on Sunday, Jan. 11, and the Oscars, whose nominations will announced early on Jan. 15. The ceremony talks place on Feb. 22.

Pitt had last year shared an Oscar for Best Picture for executive producing 12 Years a Slave.

Selma is nominated for four Golden Globe Awards. Oyelowo received an individual nod (check out a list of nominations).

Pitt had appeared at the Palm Springs International Festival solo. His wife, Angelina Jolie, is recovering from chickenpox.
