Comr.Jonathan Idiareh the national president of Niger Delta Peace Congress with some of the youths in warri embark on a peaceful road walk around the Uvwie and Warri environ sensitizing the people about rape.
The sensitization program tagged “SAY NO TO RAPE” was championed by DELTA AGAINST RAPE MOVEMENT.
Comr.Jonathan Idiareh the national president of Niger Delta Peace Congress in an interview with the pressmen present talked about some pressing issues confronting the Niger Delta region and various anti-social vices such as rape,cultism,drug and child abuse that are eating deep into the society and spoke elaborately on the need for urgent reformation and change in the region.He adviced the people mostly women to be close to the children and ensure that parental care and guidance are rendered in order for the children to be able to confide in them.
Comr.Oke Oyibo the national president of south south youth assembly also talked about how these changes can be attained.
The president of Delta against rape movement,Comrade Ogapha Olayemi Aderonke said that positive reformation in the region is the sole purpose of the organization and until that change is attained the organization will continue to do this sensitisation program and she emphasized on the treatment of children because they are our future generation.
